Unit 18 taught the final aspects of grammar, modals, phrasal verbs and the passive voice. For modal auxiliary verbs the lesson describes the basic rules and follows with each verb, its uses, and examples of the verb for the present/future and past tense. The lesson goes on to define the passive voice. It outlines the formation for each tense, the usages of the passive voice, typical student errors and teaching ideas. Lastly, phrasal verbs are broken down into the three types, intransitive, transitive seperable, and transative inseperable. This last part of the lesson, phrasal verbs, I found the most confusing and without an in depth explanation. This is something I will have to return to in order to gain a better understanding before feeling comfortable teaching it to students.
