This unit covers the various aspects of classroom management ranging from the use of eye contact, gestures, and voice from the instructor to the pros and cos of different seating arrangements. The unit also includes the nitty-gritty of classroom management, such as writing on the board and the teacher's physical position during various classroom activities. I find the information on giving instructions and balancing teacher talk time and student talk time helpful because I believe these areas will make the biggest impact on improving the flow of the class and making lessons more engaging on a daily basis.
