This unit was about how to lesson plan and what is needed. The part that I find interesting is the structure of it. I teach at a school that has the timing and everything structured and I feel like I am forced to end things even though some students are interested in it or even sometimes some students are struggling to understand a concept. I feel like I should spend more time on those things and less on others, but often am told to follow the timing closer.This unit is about two different videos of ESL example lessons. It shows the various characteristics that can make a lesson more or also less effective. Some of the characteristics are the teacher's voice, gesture, mimic, giving or skipping example vocabulary and sentences, how the lesson is structured, the student's participation and how they react to the teacher when he confuses them and so even they are not too discouraged might get confused and intimidated.
