This unit provides an overview of equipment and teaching aids one might use in the classroom. Everything from the basic board to the more advanced Interactive-White-Board is mentioned. As was addressed in the lesson, I feel much of the equipment and teaching aids a teacher uses is dictated by what is available at the school. As such, I think a teacher should be prepared to change their teaching style to match the available equipment. Thus, it is useful that this unit attempts to cover most of our aids!I have learned the different tenses as well as their forms and usages. I also learned about various activities that can help students practice different tenses. I found it very helpful to note common student errors with specific tenses. I always noticed these errors/mistakes (e.g. He watching T.V.) but never understood why they were so common. Now I understand that these mistakes occur when someone incorrectly uses a tense or omits a key sentence part (He watching T.V. rather than He is watching T.V.).
