Past perfect tense is something I don't usually use so it confuses me a bit. I do believe that an unused skill or knowledge will be forgotten overtime. We need to get used to it and make it a part of our life.It might be easier said than done especially for students but it is possible. Also,now that I want to be a vehicle for others to learn English, I must understand it well. This unit helped to clear out ambiguous aspects by giving teaching tips and simple explanations.This unit went over various methodologies for teaching and outlined the basic format that a class should follow, focusing on the \"Engage, Study, Activate\" model. I learned the importance of keeping feedback positive to encourage students to keep trying, rather than discouraging them with constant negative feedback. Allowing students to discover language for themselves and to correct each other, rather than being corrected by the teacher, will grow students' confidence.
