This unit covers the main methodologies that have been used for the purpose of teaching a foreign language, it explains their key features and in which way they contribute to or may represent a disadvantage when used to teach English as a foreign language. In particular it explains with detail and example the Engage / Study / Activate method which is the one we will follow in the future, due to its ample flexibility and the fact that it combines most of the positive parts of other methods.
