This unit is highlighted few other challenging grammatical part of english language which is Modal auxiliary verb, Passive voice, Relative clauses and Phrasal verbs. Most of these concepts are confusing for students specially those studying lower levels. - Modal auxiliary verbs are used before the verb and add meaning to the verb. Each must be used in the appropriate situations depending to the degree of formality or type of scenario (Obligation, Possibility, permission, ability and advice). - Passive voice is used when the agent (doer of action) is less important, not known or we don't want to say it. - Relative Clause is introduced by a relative pronoun, who, which, that, whom, etc. There are 2 types of it defining and non-defining. - Phrasal Verbs are multi-words verbs and there are 3 basic types of those; Intransitive, Transitive separable and transitive inseparable. Practice and more exposure to language help students to learn how to use phrasal verbs correctly.
