This unit shows the different types of past tense. It gives great examples and explanations on which words are associated with which type of past tense sentence. This unit gives clear and helpful examples of each type of past tense. It also gives ideal ways to teach these methods to students. The best part about this unit was the fact that it provided a good list of irregular verbs in the Past simple section. This can be extremely helpful when teaching.I am enjoying getting into the theory and structures of the language learning process for students wanting to learn a second language. It is interesting how the process has evolved over time, and what methodologies have become successful. Teacher encouragement and student involvement are the two key factors that determine success or failure in this process. It will be interesting how I apply these ideas in the classroom upon graduation and employment.
