I am very thankful for this unit and any future units that cover the various verb tenses used in English. As a native speaker (and I'm a bit embarrassed to admit this), I have never given this aspect of my mother tongue much thought. It is just so naturally easy for me to form sentences using any one of these tenses. Or to immediately notice and correct a sentence that utilizes the wrong tense. I am super committed to memorizing these forms, as I want to be able to easily identify and label the tense used in a given sentence by either myself or a student in the moment. I will also try to learn the names of these tenses in Japanese because I'm currently teaching abroad in Japan and have already more than once been caught off guard by questions regarding which tense is correct, which is being used, and what is it called. Lastly, the example sentence tables utilized in this unit are extremely helpful and easy to understand.
