In an ideal situation this intricate level of lesson planning will work. We are assuming that all the students in the class will understand the lesson. There are however instances where behaviour and technological issues may cause a lesson to go awry. This is why a teacher must come prepared with backup lessons in case something disturbs the flow of a seemingly perfect lesson. How a teacher deals with uncertainty will dictate the course of learning.I learned alot about ESL pedagogy. I was most interested in the stages of pedagoy . The fact that in the video and in the workbook gave many examples of what purpose the stage. The organization of the stages were sjpecific and thorough but allowed teacher preferencs. I learned that not all language learners are the same. Lessons should be adjucted for the different levels of the students.
The examples for each type and stage of lessions was great.
