This unit covered class arrangements, class grouping, and disciplinary actions and prevention. Factors such as space, type of desks, age, nationality, and student personality all affect class arrangement. Various class groupings include: whole class, individual learning, pair work, and group work. There are many factors the teacher can not control. To prevent as much disciplinary action as necessary the teacher could: show up on time, return course work promptly, be consistent and fair, maintain composure, and give respect.In the first lesson the teacher is confusing the students due to a lack of mimes or gestures. This effectively made the lesson uninteresting for them, thier vocabulary was strong just they did not understand. In the second lesson the teacher appeared in more of a positive mood which increased their concentration. The teacher made the lesson more interactive with the use of mimes and picture cards. In the second lesson rapport between student and teacher was high because he had a better attitude, which had a knock on effect.
