In this unit, many different forms of teaching lesson plans were given. I was able to understand a lot better how a lesson plan is prepared and what to include in each part of the lesson. The ESA system is very useful as it provides a good balance between having the teacher introduce a new idea and then giving the students the opportunities to learn and practice that new idea. I also like how there is so much freedom in preparing a lesson plan.This unit was about the pronunciation of words. I learned a lot from this lesson. Mainly how to teach different sounds and stresses. It is tough to teach stresses because it is something that just comes naturally. But this allows me to have a guide on how to stress words and what words to stress. Also things like pronunciation of words between when I teach and a previous teacher says something. This allows me to help students know better.
