This was an interesting block as I as some thoughts on how classroom dynamics can effect the learning process. I think that stimulating student talk time through good rapport and respect combined with fun learning activities can generate a healthy learning atmosphere. I have been in many learning environments that utilized these strategies and have found them to be effective. I can see in learning a language how these techniques can and will be more valuable.This unit covered the topics of conditionals and reported speech. Conditionals are often confusing for foreign speakers, so patience is key for the teacher. He or she must carefully help students distinguish because the 0, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and mixed conditional sentences. The unit offered some helpful activities for teachers to do with their students. It also discussed the way that direct speech should be reported, giving numerous examples and activities as well.
