I highly enjoyed this unit! I find phonology to be very interesting, so this topic was particularly captivating for me. It is also very true that, as is pointed out at the beginning of the unit, many teachers are uncertain how to properly teach pronunciation so they tend to simply avoid the topic despite its importance. The suggestions on how to teach different aspects of pronunciation is very helpful, as well as the phonemic chart and extra reading recommendations. As for me, the most valuable information from this particular Unit was in the first part of it and was connectd with teaching a vocabulary and the structure of a typical ESA vocabulary lesson. Honestly, it is not very easy for me to explain new vocabulary to my students. Moreover, I got some knowledge regarding the introduction of grammar structures to the class and a typical grammar lessson. The last but not the least was information about language function lessons.
