In this unit I learned about teaching grammar, vocabulary and language functions. I learned that there are a number of things which could influence how easy or difficult it is for a student to learn new vocabulary. For example, if it is a new word which is similar to a word in their own language, this would be much easier to remember than one which is unlike any word they have seen before or a word they would not ordinarily be able to use in their everyday lives.This was the first unit to put all of what is learned throughout the past units into action, as I've seen a very clear example of a proper teaching method. I've watched 2 videos, first was an ineffective lesson and the second was a properly produced straight arrow ESA lesson. And I've analyzed the differences between the both of them to know figure out what works and what does not work in a classroom, and how the attitude of the teacher can make all the diffirence.
