I have learnt that teacher must be flexible and change his/her role according to the activity and situation without being dominant or leaving the students uncertain. I learnt about the importance of eye contact, gesture and the voice when managing classes. I have also learnt about different ways to groups students for different activities. Also, I have learnt about the importance of classroom arrangement, giving instructions, establishing rapport, maintaining discipline.In this unit we studied the various verb forms used in the present tense. While the vast majority of first language English speakers will use these tenses accurately by instinct, they may not be familiar with the terminology and definitions that will be required should they be teaching English to second language learners. Is it vital that English teachers have an accurate understanding of the different verb tenses, so that they can teach them to second language learners.
