In this Unit, i learnt some of the most common problem situations. In first lesson, teacher should establish rapport with the students. Do warmers before the class begin. For students in different levels should use different materials, or same material but different tasks, pair stronger students with weaker ones or do nothing. For large classes should involve all pupils equally to classroom control. For reluctant students we should encourage them and prepare activities to let them speak.In Unit 10 I watched 2 recorded classes back to back to be able to see and point out the differences between an effective and ineffective class. In the second video the teacher was more friendly, smiled , and engaged the class to create a relaxing and welcoming environment. It was interesting to watch the first video and know it was done with errors purposely for us to see what NOT to do in a classroom because i can count numerous teachers in high school with that same teaching attitude!
