This unit is one that I feel pretty confident in. I have created many lesson plans before and sequences of lesson plans for whole units or for a whole year of curriculum. I have many of my own tricks and things I like to put in my lesson plans and it was nice to see many of them represented here. I liked seeing how to create a balanced language lesson that allowed the students to use many different language skills. I will definitely be very purposeful and thoughtful about that with my own lessons. I also like the potential student problems section. I always ponder what problems are likely to arise when I create a lesson plan, but with teaching English the likely problems are completely different from the types of things I am used to. I also enjoyed the further examples in this unit of different activities and how to flow from one to the next smoothly.
