I have gotten a basic understanding of the common theories of learning presented, and feel that it gives me a perspective that reflects on the different ways to learn. I think this is important to have in the back of your head when teaching, knowing when repetition is necessary and when you should proceed with a more freer form of language teaching. I think ESA encapsulates this with a focus on dynamic lessons. The different tasks and approaches to each component of the ESA methodology will be very helpful.This lesson proves that the attitude of the teacher effects the students greatly. It also gives examples of good teaching practices and bad teaching practices because although the teach may find the lesson easy, the students may not think so. This proves that it is important to clearly explain things rather than make assumptions that the students should find certain lessons easy. By learning the names of the students and utilizing things they already know, then it is more effective and more learning occurs.
