Understanding the correct pronunciation, meaning, and spelling of words are of utmost importance in teachinng correct English in my opinion because I have found that (especially by mis-pronunciation) a slight mistake on a word can change its entire meaning. I believe that if the letter is in the word then in most cases it should be pronounced correctly, i.e. car. Along with pronunciation the student needs to know the meaning and usage of the worfds used.The unit explained the structures of future tenses: the future simple, the future continuous, the future perfect, the future perfect continuous, be going + infinitive, the present simple and the present continuous. I liked the teaching ideas which students can use to practice future simple: ??Going on a holiday / lost in the desert ? what will you take? , Winning the lottery: what will you do? or Predicting what other will be like in x years.??
