This unit deals with the methods that can be used by the teacher when creating/teaching a specific class. There are several methods that can be used like the Audio-lingual method, the Presentation-Practice-Produtcion method, the Communicative Approach, the Silent Way, etc. According to this course the most usefull one is the ESA: Engage, Study, Avtivate. This unit gives a definition of each of these three stages, provides with ejamples of the types of activities that can be carried out in each stage, and what teachers should do in each stage.Unit 3 was about the different methods someone could use while teaching. But what was most important was that similar to how students will have many different ways of learning. Teachers also have many ways of teaching. Also that there is no superior method to teaching. They all have strengths and weaknesses similar to the students. Personally, how each phase has its own specific goals but that they are able to flow different ways was very important to me. The ability to fluctuate helps keep everything fresh and helps to keep everyone engaged.
