As with the units on present tenses and past tenses, this unit lists the kinds of present tenses and explains their usages. The unit also describes common errors students make and why they make errors of these kinds. Teachers can use the suggested activities to get their students to use the particular tense they should be focusing on. Together with the other tense units, teachers have a thorough guide that could be referenced for many future lesson needs.Passive voice, modals and phrasal verbs: these are not terms I use on a daily basis. Some of these topics I still struggle with and it was very helpful to learn more them. I must admit I hadn't even heard of the term 'phrasal verbs'. I now know they are multi-word verbs that consist of a verb and particles. Also I found it useful to learn about the difference in defining and non-defining relative clauses, namely essential versus non-essential information.
