The attitude of the teacher is very important when teaching a new language. In the first lesson the teacher was not lively or enthusiastic about teaching and as such did not explain the lesson properly leaving the students confused and intimidated. This was not the case in the second lesson, the teacher was lively, enthusiastic and engaging, he was prepared for his lesson and took into consideration phase, timing, procedures, interaction and teaching aids. He engaged his students by asking them to name animals, the study phase was also used as he asked the students what each animal can and can't do and placed the students in pairs to activate the lesson, resulting in students participating more in the class and also showing interest .This however was not done in the first lesson and as such the students had difficulties understanding the lesson.
