Unit 4 covers wide range of information regarding materials to be used during the lesson, which may be: worksheets, communicative activity sheets, drawings, pictures, charts, tapes and other audio aids, wide range of press units (newspapers, magazines etc). All the materials may be split to authentic and non-authentic. First have been produced to be used in real life; second - were produced specifically for classroom. Students should have certain English level to be able to use successfully authentic materials.
An essential task of a teacher is to prepare a lesson plan. This shall be a very detailed document, which could even allow other person to perform a lesson in case of emergency.
The teacher should pay attention to choice of books and working books he/she will use for the lesson, as it will guide in influence the whole studying process.
