This Unit is very helpful and technical in it‘s content. It provides a good source of information for the teacher along with references for course material and/or teaching aids. It explicitely mentions the difference between Authentic and non-authentic materials including it‘s advantages and disadvantages in regards to their usage with students. That said, I found this Unit very technical, factual and interesting as well as good in it‘s length. From my personal teaching experience, I can also confirm, that most of those mentioned facts are true. So, it‘s definitely a Unit-Content for later reference or as a remainder for teaching and/or lesson set up.
Also, UNIT-Questionnaire is direct and easy to understand and answer, except for question number 3, to which I was not really able to find a clear answer in the Unit itself.
