Managing class is always a headache for teachers, especially when teaching very young learners. From this unit, I 've learned how to manage the class effectively while inspiring confidence and interest in the students. There are many techniques for grouping students and classroom arrangement. And each arrangement leads to a different result. Also, I understood how to give easy-to-understand instructions and establish rapport.
I am a teacher of Children English, so I know how hard to manage a class. But now I understood I should use frequent eye contact, gesture, and even voices to manage the class. And I should use different groups styles to keep the students active and interactive with the others. The last but not the least, I should give the students easy-to-understand instructions through simple and consistent language, and visual clues.
