Equipment and teaching aids can emphatically make lesson more interesting and effective. To achieve this there are usually different materials at the disposal of the teacher to use in the classroom such as; Board(understood the basic principles of using the board maximally), the cassette recorder, Interactive whiteboards(IWBs or smart boards and one of the most embarrassing challenges of using this is that it could malfunction at any given time therefore it should be tested prior the lesson and have a back up plan in case of such an event), Overhead projector, Dictionaries, Visual aides, CD player etc. The importance of these materials can not be over emphasised as it is geared to give an effective lesson and less dependent on textbooks and from the lesson emphasis is also on the uses and proper usages of the afore mentioned materials.
