Unit 6 covered business etiquette, how to find employment including the questions you should ask the perspective employer, how to write a proper resume, a list of useful websites, and examinations that are available including ITTT's 250 hour diploma course in TESOL/TEFL. Plenty of examples and resources were offered for each topic. In addition, I learned the importance of doing extensive research on any country that I might be interested in working in due because of cultural differences such as the appropriate clothing to wear inside and outside of the classroom.Reading and Listening are very important language tasks. Reading is easier because we get more time with the content. Listening can be challenging. When studying Spanish, I found myself listening for general ideas to help my over all understanding. It is very important to chose the text that will be at the correct level and interesting. Using realia can help boost interest. Non-authentic texts can help understanding, but can lack interest at times. I had trouble with question 7. It was rather confusing. The answers were not clear to decide which was correct or not.
