Learning English by non-native learners is a challenge in itself as the new learners have to put in more to acquire a new language. In contrast to L1, the language teachers and course books are not available. Therefore, most of the learners rely on the methods and techniques used by the teachers. These methods include grammar-translation, audio-lingualism, task-based learning etc. proper teaching methods can be successful only when a proper approach like ESA- â€œEngage, Study and Activateâ€ is followed. ESA is the most effective and logical of all the methodologies for new teachers to adopt. Activities and methods arenâ€™t much useful unless some kind of feed-back is taken as to know how well the learners have done. This encourages self-awareness and improvement and also helps to evaluate their success and progress
