This unit talks about the theories, methods and techniques a teacher may apply in teaching the language for different levels. It also provides a challenging task sheet for additional learning to increase the knowledge in creating a plan and to look/think for activities suitable for various level. This unit gave me an insight why the teachers do what they do, how they do it, the approach/application of certain techniques for a certain level and to be creative yet understandable in coming with activities. Lastly, it was not an easy task!This unit covers the common problems an English teacher face in the classroom. A classroom can have new group of students or e isting group of students. In the first lesson a teacher should be interested in building a rapport, finding about the interest of the students and the English level of each individual. Students level will vary in the classroom but one of the best solution to that is to pair the stronger students with the weaker ones. It is also best to allow students to use English in the classroom and not their native lanusgee.
