I cannot say how much that I have learnt and how thankful that I feel after completion of all the units. The last unit in the course is very helpful in terms of dealing with different problematic classrooms situations that a teacher can encounter. I normally do a lot of icebreaking and rapport building activities in my first lesson such as \"pass the ball game\" introduced in the unit. For warmers, I normally have my students talk about some topical news whether that is a recent hot topic in school or a global breaking event. Something that I really need to work on in the future is the handling of reluctant students. I probably should pair them with stronger students in group work, encourage more public presentation opportunities. Last but not least, I do not ban the use of native language in my class, but I do control and limit that to be 10% of the total class time as at times, native language explanation can clear up confusions and keep the lesson go smoothly.
