I learned about the different structures of lesson plans that can be used to help students learn a new language. This unit highlighted the difficulties that may present when trying to incorporate any one of these learning styles along with the advantages of each one. For instance, in the Straight Arrow sequence, the teacher may not be entirely sure which areas the students are having the most trouble with beforehand. However, in the Boomerang sequence, the teacher is able to accurately get a feel for the problem points of the class while continuing the activities so that they can be addressed and resolved for the students.
