This unit gives an overall crash-course on the different external exams that are given around the world. The example placement test is a great resource as an example for a placement test however, there are no answers and the way to grade it is up to the teacher. It's great to know the difference between the different tests that are given in the class. Diagnostic and placement exams are similar but the diagnostic exams tend to be more extensive. The practice exams follow the format of the external exam the students are studying for. Finally, placement exams are taken before taking an English course in order to find out the student's language level.
