Various specialist skills are used to understand the context presented: predictive skills, scanning for specific information, skimming for the general idea, getting detailed information and deduction from the context. Teachers have various ways to help students overcome their comprehension difficulties: they can pre-teach new vocabulary, they can carefully choose appropriate texts and topics, they need to create interest and choose tasks that will help with the actual understanding of the texts.I have learnt that the system and structure of past tenses is not very different from those of present tenses.
