This unit extends on some of the themes we tackled in the first unit, such as the interaction of students and teachers. It focuses primarily on the teaching methodology that we will use when teaching to L2 students. This framework is important because even though it will be new to the students it is also new to me as a teacher. ESL framework is not one that I have used in my own learning and it is exciting to learn a bit of the other methodologies used to teach English historically as well as the one we will be using commercially. It is important and has helped me to see that not everyone learns English in the same way that a native speaker would and also helped to solidify the new dynamic for teaching to a L2 learner.
