I find the future the most confusing. When we add on the 'going to' , present simple and present continuous and present simple as ways to express the future, I find that I must look at the structure if I am going to identify the correct structure. IT is also apparent to me that many native English speakers use these structures incorrectly, but assume they are correct because of habit/ common usage. Since I plan to focus on spoken English, I will encourage students to use the structures so that they are able to properly convey their meaning, and to also listen to the elasticity of English and how it is spoken by native speakers.
