There are many different teaching styles and how a teacher teaches depends on the circumstances the student and/or teacher are in. Culture, personalities and needs are just a few circumstances that come in to how someone teaches and/or learns. A teacher should be flexible and able to take and use what's best from most teaching techniques and apply those methods in their weekly lesson plans. Anxiety and stress will hinder a student's ability to learn therefore lessons should be fun and engaging while offering the student opportunities to have as mush exposure to the language as possible, with some input and encouragement from the teacher. I've learned some of the theories names and methods for what I have been teaching for the last two years.
