This unit discusses about modal verbs, passive voice, relative clauses, and phrasal verbs. In my opinion, the last three are the hardest grammar points for students. For passive voice, the problem lies on the need to understand the tenses first before learning it. As for relative clauses, the difficulty is on combining two sentences and deciding whether it will be defining or non-defining. As for the last one, since the meaning of a phrasal verb might be greatly different from the base verb itself, it poses confusion to the learners. A great deal of teaching is needed to make these grammar points more bearable to students.
