How the teaching uses their voice, hands and eye contact during teaching can have a large affect on the students ease of understanding. Classroom arrangement and the grouping of students can inherently give students experience using English in different social settings, ranging from speaking in front of multiple people to an intimate conversation with an acquaintance. The arrangements also give the teacher different ways to monitor student performance. TTT is important for giving instruction, examples and building good relationships with students, but it should be simple and kept to a minimum, as to allow students to talk more. A teacher must be able to recognize the reasons for poor student behavior, and be ready to politely, yet firmly respond to such behavior, when the issues begin, not as they escalate.
