The stark contrast between the two videos highlighted the extent to which a teacher can shape the learning environment with not just their teaching methods, but their attitudes. The second video inspired and motivated me to pursue my dreams of teaching, as I found it very enjoyable to see the positive effect that the teacher's friendly, engaging, encouraging and fun attitude had on his students. From my own experiences learning languages in the past, I myself can appreciate how important (and wonderful) it is to have a teacher who is passionate and dedicated when it comes to teaching and supporting their students, and I will keep the examples in this video in mind for when I one day (hopefully) have students of my own.
