Unit 10 showed examples of a well planned lesson and a poorly planned lesson. I learned a lot from both videos. The well planned video showed how to transition activities, be energetic, and how to get the class involved. One major lesson I took away from the video was to wait for the class to respond. I think I would have given them 30 seconds before I would give a phonetic hint but the instructor waiting for longer and the class eventually responds. The poorly planned lesson video give good examples of what not do. The instructor was not flexible with the class, he used technical terms and not the English level the class is at. He didn't try to engage the students.
