I have learnt the several conditional forms. Zero conditional is for common facts, that never changes. First conditional is for something would highly possible happens, we use present simple and future tense. Second conditional is for something hypothetically, which means might not happen at all. We use past simple and past perfect tense. Third conditional is for something hypothetically happen in the past, we use past perfect tense. Mixed conditional is always confusing for students. The conditional is almost the most difficult grammar part for students to understand, practice makes perfect, as a teacher, I should arrange more different types of practices for our students. Reported speech is actually not that difficult to understand its concept, but when we transfer direct speech to a reported speech, we have to do it step by step in order to avoid mistakes. Also there are many reporting verbs that has to remember by our students.
