i enjoyed this unit on lesson planning. I strongly believe in being prepared for class and writing out not only daily but weekly lesson plans. I like to look at the week as the perfect t time to pick a concept and theme to learn and spend the rest of the week focused on that. I think a week is just the right amount of time for students to focus on a concept. It gives them time to really dive into it, and work on it, and they also know that next week there will be something new to work on. of course, the weeks all build on each other and this is what becomes the curriculum and journey of leaving the language. It is very important to have the day planned out as well. as the unit teaches us: it is important to have a guide for the day and be prepared, but it is just as important to be flexible and allow the day to flow as it flows.
