This unit covered the different types of special groups I might need to teach in my ESL career: young learners, English beginners (there are several sub-categories of this), business English students, students in a tutoring context (one-to-one teaching), monolingual classes, and multilingual classes. The groups that are of most interest to me are monolingual (since I plan on moving to an Asian country to teach EFL there), business English, and individual tutoring (which is what I would like to do here in Germany). Business English is probably the most challenging of these because it deals with several different levels of English, sometimes all in one class.
