In this unit I watched two lessons, in which the same material was been taught, but in two different ways. The first lesson was really dull and boring, and therefore ineffective; the teacher did not get to engage the students in the lesson (in fact, he looked quite bored and unhappy, which must have made the students feel the same, I know that's how I would feel in such a class). In the second class the teacher used the ESA method and he was very engaged in the lesson himslef, which made the students take part and participate in the lesson (it was really fun to watch, that's how I'd want my classes to be, it is fun and therefore effective). The attitude between the teacher and the students work like a mirror - they reflect on one another. It does come from the teacher - if the teacher looks like he/she is into the lesson, then the srudents will react the same.
