Although other tenses may seem tricky, Future tenses are the most complex and have the most forms. The seven most common forms are presented in the unit; future simple, future continious, future perfect, future perfect continious, be going + infinitive, present simple and present continious.
Because Be going To can easily be confused with future simple it may work better for the students if these tenses are taught together in order for the differences to be more clearly seen. It is also a good idea to have students learn future perfect and future perfect continious differences to help ease confusion of the two tenses.
