This unit was very good in that it really made me consider the classroom management. From seat arrangements, eye contact, whether or not to break in to groups, large group work, pairs, etc. All of it was very thought-provoking. I appreciate that it discussed the pros and cons of grouping students in different size groups. Thinking about the desk arrangement and whether it leads to an intimate class style was very helpful. Also, to remember to spend as little time with your back to the class and be prepared was a great reminder. I also appreciate the section about discipline and dealing with problem behaviors.
