This unit is about conditionals and reported speech. There are five types of conditionals; zero, first, second, third, and mixed. There are many ways to teach different types of conditionals such as giving students half of a sentence and have them finding or completing the other half. This part of the unit taught me the different types of conditionals. Although I had known the formation of some of them it helped describe their usages in a clear way. The second half of the unit was about reported speech. The verb tenses change when you report speech to others. There is also ?back shifting? which modifies time expressions and places. This part of the unit was incredibly helpful for me. Although I often report speech I never noticed a concrete pattern in how to report speech.
