In this Unit I've learned that there are different types of past tenses. Among them are: Past Simple(that is used for past actions when the time is give and when the action took place in a definite time), Past Continuous(that is used for interrupted actions, description and to show that action began before that time and maybe continued after it), Past Perfect(that is used that some action had been finished in the past before another action in the past began), Past Perfect Continuous(that is used to show that there had been an action in progress before another action in the past). For Past simple we always use Past Simple verb form, if the verb is irregular. If it's regular we use -ed. In Past Perfect past participle is used for irregular verbs.
