This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit helped me to reinforce the learning from the previous grammar unit about tenses. Despite being past tense, the use of simple, continuous, perfect, perfect continuous is the same. By being able to look at those four variations again in past tense form, I was able to review what had been taught in the present tense grammar lesson. Going through this experience as a native speaker is very interesting because of how we are breaking down parts of speech that come naturally to me, yet can be confusing when you try to pin down the exact expressions with sentences. Learning this in this way will help me to teach students about the different tense forms better.
